Event Schedule

All participants must be registered and paid in advance. No on-site registrations or walk-ins available.

Arrive any time after noon on Monday. Burton Lodge will be our gathering space. Catch up with friends as they arrive. Check out the flute makers’ tables. If you get there before it all begins, have a look around the premises, take a walk on the beach, find a place to play music.

Check in, along with your room assignments, will be ready around 2:00pm in Burton Lodge.

The first scheduled activity is dinner at 5:30pm.

1. Session with Pam (Burton Lodge main floor)
   Finding the Rhythm Within
   All instruments welcome.
2. Session with Joe (Burton lodge downstairs)
   All flute skill levels welcome. Bring G-minor and A-minor flutes.

1. Session with Cornell (Burton Lodge main floor)
   Playing ensemble music with Native Flute, “Flute Choir”
   Playing group music together with written parts as an ensemble, Music will be provided in multiple formats (NAF Tab, finger diagrams). Our version of a NAF choir. Bring A-minor and E-minor flutes. (We will play through two pieces of music. You can download them and play along with tutorial videos on our 2024 Participant Info page.)

   Discovering Your Inner Melodies:
   Using Your Flute’s Full Potential with Mastery of Technique and Expressiveness via Engaging Practice Routines. Bring your G Minor flutes

   All instruments welcome
2. Session with Tim (Burton Lodge downstairs)
   ENGAGE!
   An Interactive Workshop Exploring Melody and Rhythm with our Flutes: Bring your A Minor Flutes.

   Playing With Stuff – all instruments
   Playing and jamming with other musicians, backing tracks, etc.
2. Session with Cornell (Burton Lodge downstairs)
   Flute community forum
   Nurturing community around our instrument: Flute circles, flute events, encouraging new and experienced players, creating musical activities. All welcome. Come share your ideas from your own flute circles and communities.
